Welcome to Energytopia
The Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) partnered with the Thai Ministry of Energy to create an exhibition on energy efficeny in Thailand. Faculty partnered with TCDC to bring the exhibition online, in the form of an engaging interactive experience to educate the Thai public on the power of Design Thinking to creatively answer challenging problems.
Faculty lead a series of collaborative workshops with internal stakeholders at TCDC to get as much insight as possible into the current experience of typical energy consumers, which culminated in the design and development of a highly interactive experience in partnership with local agencies Pink Blue Black & Orange and MAQE.

Project Childhood
Project Chldhood was a 3 year project in Southeast Asia working to increase legal and social protections for vulnerable and at risk children living and working in and around tourist areas.
Faculty worked closely with NGO and government partners over the course of the project to develop the "Be a Child Safe Traveler" campaign, both regionally and internationally.
The needs of the campaign were incredibly diverse — from campaign messaging focusing on tourists, to practical toolkits to be used by facilitators in local communities, across multiple countries and in multiple languages – which required a strong cultural sensitivity and collaboration.
The Project Childhood 'Child Safe Tourism' camapaign won a 'Yahoo - Internet for Good' award in 2014.

CARE Cambodia
CHAT! Contraception
CARE is an international development agency working on global poverty with a special focus on working with women and girls. The Chat! Contracteption campaign is a behaviour change communication training toolkit focusing on female and male garment factory workers, to improve their knowled of modern and safe contraceptive health services.
The toolkit was designed as an interactive, innovative set of activities to be used in workshops at garment factories across Cambodia. Faculty developed the branding and design of the toolkits and PR materials, as well as animations for a series of live action tv films and the user experience and design of a companion android app.

The Strategic Design Lab
The SDL helps businesses kick start innovation by quickly designing, prototyping and testing ideas with customers to answer vital business questions. The lab brings together practices and professionals from design, technology, finance, data analysis and other disciplines, as well as company stakeholders and consumers – to effectively uncover meaningful insights that can accelerate business transformation in days, not months.
The Strategic Design Lab is a partner agency with Santora Nakama, and has worked with Jaguar / Landrover, Rabbit Rewards / Bangkok Transit Authority, Chanintr Living, The Cambodia Rice Federation and Bayer Pharmacuticals.
